Our next meeting will be held Tuesday MAY 21

FAITH FORMATION CENTER – Holy Redeemer Education Center Campus

Park to enter in front of center

This month the Trustees will be presenting the slate of officers to serve Council 1621 for the upcoming year 2019-2020.  A reminder to make the extra effort to attend for the election.  Many of them will be renewing their position for a second term.  If you have a desire to serve as an officer of the council contact one of the trustees listed on the bottom of the page and they can help you enter the leadership role.

Thank you to all who helped make the 1st Marshall Fish Fry and the 1st Annual Fish Fry at Cottonwood a good success.  The one in Marshall on March 29 was one of biggest in several years.  Cottonwood fish fry had a good turnout for it being the first time and several people made comments that were hoping we would come back.

Jeff Yorde gives a special Thank You to the members and friends who helped with the kneeler repair and upkeep.  This is one of the “lesser” recognized activities that KC members help with to maintain proper use of our sanctuary pews and kneelers for the congregation.

Mike Oney, Chairman of the Tootsie Roll Drive, reports that this year’s program had increased revenue over last year.  All proceeds are sent to the State Chairman and we have designated the will be shared with the MN State Fall Bowling for Special Olympics, Camp SOS at Lake Shetek and Local ARC program.

On Saturday May 11 Chairman Jeff Wyffels is organizing the spring grounds and highway cleanup.  We will all meet at the school at 9 am.  Then a group will work the school and Convent center to rake up twigs and such.  We will also do the rectory area.   A separate group will go out to do the semi-annual Hwy 59 cleanup.   Watch e-mails for reminders.

For charitable contributions to be considered by the council please send requests to

Grand Knight John Trost at jtrost98@gmail.com or contact any of the other officers below
